October 17, 2022
We are sad to announce the retirement of Ken whose last working day will be October 21, 2022.
A dedicated Service Technician currently reporting to Joe Roggio, Regional Area Manager – Metro NY, CT, and MA, Ken has been an integral part of our organization for the last thirty years and his contributions will always be valued and remembered.
Ken has provided his customers and team with nothing short of all-around excellence in service. He has been loyal and diligent in handling our customers’ LP gas appliances, maintaining, installing and removing them; dealing with gas odor calls, tank recertifications, meter lockouts and re-installs, all while adhering to our industry’s strict safety standards. Ken’s hard work, commitment and dedication are admirable, and filling his shoes will be a difficult task.
Frank Carlone, Area Manager worked closely with Ken for many years. Both Frank and Jeff Palen, General Manager – Northeast Region expressed their appreciation and gratitude with the following words of praise that speak volumes about Ken’s positive impact and importance in our organization:
Frank Carlone: “I want to congratulate Kenny for the many years of service and on his retirement. Kenny was my go to service tech when I needed repairs at our Mount Vernon facility. Kenny understood the importance of keeping that plant up and running. He would come right down, look at the problem and get the plant running again. When I needed things taken care of at the plant in Peekskill like repairs, inventory, plowing and salting the yard during the winter, I could always count on him. Kenny is a great source of technical information in the Propane industry. I remember our conversations trying to solve problems; Kenny would always take the time to explain how to make the necessary repairs, explain install codes and the most important of all safety in our industry. I have learned so much through the years from Kenny and he will be greatly missed. Good luck my friend.”
Jeff Palen: “Kenny Pfahlert has been a valued member of the Paraco family for many years. He has provided outstanding customer service and has mentored countless numbers of employees while always sharing his vast industry knowledge. He has always been the “go to guy” when we needed advice to help or solve an issue. I have had the pleasure of working with Kenny for the past 5 years and I appreciate all that he has taught me along the way. Congratulations on your retirement and all of the incredible years of work you put into getting there.”
Ken, you will be missed greatly. We wish you all the best for a happy and fulfilling retirement!
