What is the Tank Butler®?

Tank Butler® is a paid service that uses an Automatic Tank Level Monitoring System to let Paraco wirelessly track your fuel level so we can deliver your propane when you need it most.

Tank Butler is a great option if your propane use is unpredictable from month to month or season to season. If your bills are more predictable, Paraco’s FREE Automatic Delivery service may be enough for you. Contact us to learn more.

Tank Butler Benefits

  • Monitors your propane levels, so you don’t have to
  • Reduces the number of propane deliveries and saves you the expense of added charges for out-of-gas deliveries
  • Monitors changes in your propane consumption, completing deliveries only as needed
  • Installs easily on your propane tank and is virtually maintenance free

How It Works

The Cellular Unit
Installed and tested in just a few minutes, the propane cellular tank transmitter is connected via cable to a SmartFill unit to read levels. The equipment, which is completely sealed and maintenance free, is designed for years of reliable operation.

The Cell Tower
Information from the transmitter is sent via a secure cellular network to a cell tower at Paraco. If a low level is detected, a priority notification is immediately sent to us. Tank level and usage data is transmitted regularly so that we can be more responsive to your needs.

Paraco receives reports for your tank that record the date, time and gallons we deliver to you. These reports ensure timely deliveries so you will never run out of fuel.

Because Paraco is constantly monitoring your tank levels, your propane will always be delivered when you need it—not when it’s convenient for us to deliver.
