Slice Out Hunger – Pizza for a Purpose! Strong Rope Pizza Jam

On Sunday, September 1, Paraco’s propane lit up the pizza ovens at Strong Rope Brewery in Brooklyn, NY, to support a meaningful cause! NYC’s top pizza makers gathered to serve their signature pies, with every dollar raised going directly to Slice Out Hunger to combat food insecurity. The event was a huge success, with attendees savoring delicious pizza and enjoying the vibrant community spirit.

South Plainfield, New Jersey – 65th Annual Labor Day Parade

On Monday, September 2, Paraco proudly continued its tradition of supporting the oldest & largest Labor Day Parade in New Jersey! Our dedicated team was out in full force, participating in the Parade, meeting, greeting the attendees at our booth, and handing out exclusive Paraco swag! Our Paraco truck was prominently displayed along the 2-mile parade route, showcasing our commitment to the community. The festivities included fun activities for the entire family, engaging entertainment, delicious food, and an impressive fireworks display at Memorial Park!

 

9/11 Serve + Remember, A National Day of Service and Remembrance

In partnership with Volunteer New York! Paraco volunteers gathered at the Westchester County Center in White Plains to honor and remember those we lost on 9/11. As part of the day, our creative team of volunteers took part in the Paraco Creates Cards for the Troops event, handwriting inspirational notes to be included in care packages sent by United for the Troops, letting service members overseas know they are in our thoughts. It was a meaningful and impactful day of service!

Dylan Olivia Memorial Fund – Annual Golf Outing

Paraco and the Armentano family were honored to continue their support as sponsors, paying tribute to their dear friend’s son. On Thursday, September 12, golfers gathered at the Harrison Meadows Country Club in Harrison to celebrate Dylan’s memory and his passion for the game. The event was a heartfelt gathering of family and friends, and in addition to the golf tournament, a Memorial Scholarship has been established at Dylan’s alma mater, Iona Prep School. This Scholarship will be awarded to a student in financial need who exemplifies Dylan’s integrity, values, and leadership skills, ensuring his legacy continues to inspire and support future generations.

 

Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon – Annual Fall Gala

Paraco was honored to continue its support of the BGCMV, reflecting our deep-rooted connection to Mount Vernon. Over 350 guests gathered at The Surf Club in New Rochelle, NY, for an evening dedicated to recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community. The proceeds from this fundraiser will further the BGCMV’s mission of empowering young people, especially those in greatest need, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. A shout out to the Paraco team, Dan Scicutella, Laura McPadden, Diane DeVivo, Rachael Pink, Frank Carlone, Jim Roth and Laura Salmi, Doug Tascarella and Megan Carr for their participation in the event!

Westport Rotary Club – 13th Annual LobsterFest

On Saturday, September 21, music and lobster enthusiasts gathered for the annual LobsterFest at Compo Beach in Westport, CT. Paraco continues to expand in CT and was thrilled to sponsor the Steel Band from Bridgeport, a well-known and beloved regional favorite. Guests enjoyed a perfect day at the beach with their families, indulging in delicious lobster while soaking in fantastic live music and engaging in fun activities for kids. The event provided a memorable experience and supported local and international nonprofits, making it a great cause and a celebration.
