American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks
October is breast cancer awareness month, and in support of this important cause, Paraco participated in four walks across our footprint: Suffolk County, Westchester County, Orange County & Fairfield County. This year, Paraco volunteers turned out in record numbers to distribute swag at our booths while connecting with survivors, their families, and caregivers. A special thank you to our Paraco Team LeadsꟷMegan Carr, Diane DeVivo, Theresa Beil, and Dawn Usseryꟷfor their dedication and leadership in the fight for a cure!

Terryville Fire Department Engine Company Two
Paraco was proud to sponsor once again the Annual 5k Walk & Fun Run held in Port Jefferson, NY. As a dedicated fire protection and emergency service provider, the Port Jefferson Fire Department relies on over 100 volunteers and responded to more than 4,300 emergency response incidents last year, ensuring the safety of the hamlets of Terryville and Port Jefferson.

Green Chimney School for Special Needs
Paraco was thrilled to partner with Green Chimney School for Special Needs for a memorable outdoor adventure at Bonnie Bell Farm in Brewster, NY. Paraco volunteers eagerly rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty, helping prepare the farm for the upcoming spring season. Dressed in their farming gear, volunteers worked diligently to clear old plants, weed the garden, and plant new seeds, all in an effort to enhance the farm’s growth and beauty. Following their hard work, the group enjoyed a guided tour of the farm’s animal sanctuary, providing a well-rounded experience that combined both labor and learning. It was a day full of meaningful moments, and we sincerely thank all of the Paraco volunteers for their dedication and participation in this enriching event
