This month, we wanted to reflect on the incredible impact our Paraco family has made this holiday season in our local communities. The unwavering support and generosity of our employees have played a vital role in making a positive difference in the communities we serve. Here’s a glimpse of the wonderful community events our employees actively participated in:
FRIENDS OF KAREN
In November, Paraco presented a donation to Friends of Karen, an organization dedicated to providing emotional, financial, and advocacy support for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Previously, employees had worked to create birthday bags for children receiving medical care and their siblings.
GRACE CARES FOOD PANTRY (Medford, NY) AND FOCUS CHURCH: FEED THE HOPE (Shirley, NY)
As the holiday season approached, our Long Island employees collected food and gift donations at multiple food pantries, extending a helping hand to families in need.
TOYS FOR TOTS
Paraco continued its partnership with the United States Marine Corps Reserve by participating in the annual Toys for Tots campaign to help bring the joy of Christmas to less fortunate children.
Our Team Leads arranged Toy Drop Sites at several Paraco locations: Corporate, South Plainfield, Saugerties, and Waterbury. Employees generously filled the toy boxes with many fun, cuddly, and interactive toys and books to ensure the children had a present to open on Christmas Day!
Thanks to our Team Leads, Antoinette, Kelly, and Will, for leading this year’s Toys for Tots campaign and everyone who donated their thoughtful gifts!
Paraco is proud to be an annual supporter of Toys for Tots, which has distributed 652 million toys to 291 million deserving children in the past 76 years!
NEW JERSEY MOTOR TRUCK ASSOCIATION (NJMTA) – WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA
Paraco remembers our fallen heroes and honors our veterans who served.
In collaboration with NJMTA, the official sponsor and transporter of Wreaths Across America, Paraco proudly showed its appreciation for our vets by donating wreaths for the annual wreath-laying Ceremony in December. Thousands of wreaths were placed on veterans’ graves at the Beverly Monument Cemetery in Beverly, NJ, the final resting place for 49,000 veterans.
A shout-out to Paraco employee Jim Roca, Regional Area Manager, for volunteering and representing Paraco at the annual Ceremony!
