The New York Propane Gas Association held a Propane Industry Responder Conference at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy and Morelly Homeland Security Center in Bethpage, NY on April 26 and 27th. The event was extremely successful bringing together more than 80 propane industry and fire service personnel. Fire Service personnel from all over Long Island and the FDNY participated. They not only learned from classroom training, discussions and exercises, they also participated in hands-on drills, three live demonstrations and training on the fire field.
