This February 24th is quite a special day. The following six esteemed members of our Paraco family are celebrating their 10-year anniversary and we’re thrilled to congratulate and honor them!
CHUCK VISSER
Chuck, an Operations Specialist, works from our Shirley, NY office and reports to Jimmy Leach, Service Director. As Operations Specialist, Chuck wears several hats, with the ultimate commitment to improving the customer experience and ensuring operational efficiency. Overseeing the smooth and efficient daily operations of the facility, Chuck is tasked with optimizing processes and procedures to achieve maximum efficiency, and ensuring deliverables are met. He is also responsible for training service techs and making sure all health and safety regulations are followed.
Expressing gratitude for everything Chuck does, Jimmy says “Chuck is a valued member of our Long Island team. For lack of better words, Chuck is an all-around good guy and utility player. Chuck has held multiple positions here, and helps out whenever and wherever needed on a supervisory level.”
LINDA KRICH
Our Logistics Agent for the Bay Shore, NY office, Linda reports to Bill Petratos, Director of Logistics. Linda’s role involves high interaction with multiple departments and she uses several applications to successfully provide the routing and administration of drivers’ daily activities for customer deliveries. Linda is charged with the effectiveness and accuracy of the dispatch and account interactions. Her role is vital in providing “live”, real-time delivery and dispatch operations using logic, advanced geographic knowledge, and keen prioritization skills to reduce drops/missed stops; and to control delivery exceptions without risk to staff, customers or the general public.
Bill thoughtfully spoke of Linda, telling us, “Since I started my career at Paraco, Linda was the first person that sat with me patiently, showing me how deliveries were determined. Her talents are not limited to accurate forecasting. She has shown to be great with direct customer interaction, and has undertaken various new projects as needed by our business. Lastly, Linda can perform almost every function in our Logistics System, and is relied upon to assist in training new employees.”
RICHARD DRAKE
Richard, our Bay Shore, NY Bulk Delivery Driver reports to Bill Petratos, Area Manager – Bay Shore; and provides first-in-class bulk propane delivery service to our residential and commercial customers. As a professional driver, Richard has his CDL B and maintains all required HAZMAT and Tank Vehicle endorsements. In addition to delivering consistent, courteous and efficient customer service, Richard makes sure he is up to date with safety and OSHA certifications, performs daily vehicle and trailer inspections, and willingly lends a helping hand wherever his team needs it.
Bill shared with us that “Rich was the very first driver I was introduced to when I joined Paraco. I remember that day explicitly. Rich’s area knowledge, not just for his ‘normal’ area, but for almost all surrounding ones is rivaled by few. He can be relied upon daily to come to work, and perform. Thirty years of LPG experience goes a long way! On behalf of the whole Bay Shore team, we wish Rich a Happy Anniversary with Paraco!”
RICK HENDRICKSON
Rick is a Bulk Delivery Driver who supports our Riverhead, NY location and reports to JR Tirado, Area Manager. Maintaining a clean and safe driving record, Rick works in all weather and driving conditions. With a customer-centric and safety-first mentality, Rick keeps up with the needed Hazmat endorsements; and he focuses on making sure his vehicle and equipment are ready to bring our customers their fuel on time, practicing superior customer service skills by being courteous and efficient.
JR Tirado, Area Manager: “In my 3 years of knowing Rick, he has to be the quietest person I have ever known. Rick has a strong work ethic. Some key elements include accountability, dependability, and dedication to performing his tasks very professionally with customers and peers alike. Happy Anniversary, Rick!”
SUSAN DUFFY
Susan is our Long Island Service Representative. She supports all our Long Island customers and reports to Jackie Romano, Service Office Manager. Susan provides our customers with gracious and positive support and an unparalleled work ethic. Among other responsibilities, Susan effectively provides customers with product and service information to help them resolve issues and/or help them arrive at the best solution to their needs. A true team player, Susan’s superior communications skills help assist customer issues while documenting each call for any further issue resolution needs.
Jackie said she still remembers when she and Susan first met, fully confident Susan would be a loyal employee and asset to the team, telling us “Sue and I work together daily, and she’s my right hand person. I enjoy having her as coworker and friend. Happy Anniversary, Sue!”
VITO GIAMMARELLA
Vito is a Service Technician reporting to Jimmy Leach, Service Director. Supporting the Shirley, NY facility, Vito is responsible for the maintenance, install and removal of customer LP propane gas appliances and tanks. While providing outstanding customer service with a safety-first attitude, he performs tank pick-ups, safety checks, gas odor calls, tank recertifications, tank & meter lockouts, and re-installs. Equipped with a commercial CDL and Hazmat & Tanker endorsements, Vito also performs a variety of equipment diagnostics required for safe and efficient operations.
Recognizing Vito’s contributions to the team, Jimmy shared that “Vito is one of our more senior and experienced techs. His knowledge and experience are valued by our Long Island team as he is always there to help out when needed.”
Chuck, Linda, Richard, Rick, Susan and Vito — with wholehearted appreciation for everything you do, we celebrate you on your special milestone anniversary and wish you the very best for continued success.
