Employee Spotlight: Dedication & Customer Satisfaction at its Best

 

Alfred (Pete) Massey | Extraordinary Work Ethic, Loyalty & Customer Service

Alfred masseyAlfred (better known as “Pete”) works out of our Waterbury, CT facility as a BBQ delivery driver and reports to Jarett Forzano, Area Manager.  An integral part of a demanding and fast-paced environment, Pete works outdoors in all weather and driving conditions; and is responsible for providing safe, punctual, and reliable BBQ deliveries to our customers.  He does this consistently, courteously and efficiently, always attentive to providing excellent customer service and adhering to all industry compliance with a safety-first mentality.

Jarett nominated Pete to this Spotlight, expressing the many ways he’s awesome.  Jarett started off by saying, “A long-time veteran, Pete is a person who works 6 days a week, making sure to support the company in the demands of the customers”.  Jarett says Pete is a very quiet person; however, though he might not say much, he’s always there when you need him.  Jarett values Pete’s loyalty and dependability, expressing how “No matter what is going on in his life, Pete always makes it to work and never calls out sick … Pete understands how his team depends on him, as much as he depends on them to service each customer every day”.  Jarett told us Pete is one person he has a very high regard for, never doubts him, and is extremely grateful that he’s part of his team as “Pete’s one of the gears that keeps us moving”.

Jeff Palen, General Manager – Northeast Region adds, “Pete is a very appreciated member of the Northeast Region BBQ Team.  He provides outstanding service for our BBQ accounts throughout the state of CT.  His reliability, consistent performance, and strong work ethic provide for an excellent customer experience.”

 

Lisa Ojeda | Effective Permit Management & Relationship Building

Employee spotlightLisa Ojeda is a Permit Administrator.  She works out of our Shirley, NY office and reports to Jackie Romano, Service Office Manager.  As Permit Administrator, Lisa wears several important hats.  Among her many responsibilities, she prepares applications and forms, and compiles the required documentation for the appropriate County and towns on behalf of customers needing permits.  Lisa helps customers by phone and in person, responding to questions, researching problems, and initiating problem resolution.

Working closely with the Sales team and responding to open requests, Lisa interprets codes and regulations governing the permits process.  She also works with architects on building plans, ensuring everything is within code requirements, while building a good rapport with all entities involved.

Jackie says Lisa always goes above and beyond for our customers and sales reps in the permit process. She also said “Lisa takes pride in her work and is very detailed ordinated.  She is very pleasant, soft spoken, intelligent and an asset to Paraco Gas. She is a pleasure to work with and always ready to assist her co-workers.”

Bob Pearce, General Manager Long Island, nominated Lisa to this Spotlight, emphasizing her value to the team: “Lisa has worked and helped form the Permit Department that runs within the Long Island Service Department.  Lisa has been instrumental in forming excellent relationships with the various Towns and Fire Marshals in the Long Island footprint.  Lisa has the ability to cut through the Town bureaucracy and satisfy both residential and commercial customers.”
