United Way, Purchase, NY – Imagine Gala
Paraco’s support of this year’s United Way Gala helped create the most successful fundraising event in their history! The sold-out event raised more than $500,000! The Gala also featured a Silent Auction to help raise funds, including Paraco’s donation of four tickets to a New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game. One baseball superfan walked away a very happy winner!
The United Way’s mission is to touch the lives of those struggling to make ends meet and help to get basic essential goods in the hands of the people who need them the most. They strive to alleviate hunger, close the transportation gap, give students the tools they need to succeed, answer the call for help and change lives for the better.
Ramapo for Children, Rhinebeck, NY – 100th Anniversary Celebration
Music, great food, swimming, and boating were some of the main attractions at this year’s Ramapo for Children event! Celebrating 100 years of championing young people of all abilities, Paraco’s contribution as a Role Model Sponsor will help those who face social, emotional, and learning challenges and empower them to learn essential life skills, build healthy relationships, and experience success.
For a century, Ramapo has provided scholarships for summer camps for those in need, as well as year-round residential programming for young adults transitioning to independence, essential childcare and recreational programs for preschoolers and school-age youth, and team-building retreats for schools and community groups.
Friends of Crawford Park, Rye, NY – The Great Lawn Summer Series
Paraco helps support Crawford Park’s mission to preserve and beautify the 36-acre park grounds. Contributions to the organization will help ensure they can continue hosting various events like Music at the Mansion featuring the Westchester Philharmonic and Nature Therapy Walks for the community members.
Dylan Olivia Memorial Fund, Scarsdale, NY – 2nd Annual Golf Outing
Paraco and the Armentano Family continue their support of the annual golf outing in memory of their dear friend’s son, Dylan. Family members and friends gathered once again at Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains for a day of golf in remembrance of Dylan’s love of the game. Proceeds from this year’s event will help support the Dylan Olivia Memorial Fund. In this non-charitable organization, a Memorial Scholarship has been established in honor of Dylan at his Alma Mater, Iona Prep School. A scholarship will be awarded to a student in financial need who shares Dylan’s integrity, values, and leadership skills. A special shout out to Kevin Watson, one of Paraco’s avid golfers; thank you for arranging a foursome with our vendors and participating in this great event!
Summitville Fire Department, Wurtsboro, NY – Annual Golf Outing
Paraco fuels the barbecue for a Paraco customer with a new propane grill and cover donated to the Summitville Fire Dept. for its annual golf tournament raffle. The lucky winner was both surprised and thrilled to receive the unexpected prize, as his propane grill needed replacement!
Richmond Community Services Foundation, Yonkers, NY- FunFest
Paraco continues its support of the annual FunFest celebrating children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families! This year’s barbecue event was filled with activities tailor-made for the people supported by Richmond, including Volleyball, Cornhole, Tetherball, Croquet, Darts, T-ball, Fishing, Limbo, and Parachute!
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Gilbert, PA – Annual Fundraiser
Paraco fuels the day at the church fundraiser by warmly donating ten propane tanks for the concession stands. Proceeds from this event ensure this ladies’ organization continues its commitment to working together to support those in need with food and other essentials.
Lake Winola Fire Company No. 1, Lake Winola, PA – Annual Fund Drive
With the support of donors like Paraco, the Lake Winola Fire Company met its annual fundraising goal! These funds ensure large purchases of essential life-saving equipment for the community, such as the Lucas Chest Compression device machines that assist with artificial chest compressing during CPR. The community ambulances have also been supplied with the device in the event the EMTs have to perform CPR.
