Grace Care Church Food Pantry – Annual Toy Drive, Medford, New York – Paraco Delivers Gifts to Kids During the Holiday Season
Paraco employees from our Bay Shore and Riverhead Long Island locations began collecting toys, clothing, food, grocery gift cards, and flowers in November to support the Grace Care Church Food Pantry Toy Drive. Bob, JR, Charlie, Christine, Sabrina, Angela, Linda, Dan, and volunteer Dave, dressed in costumed characters like Santa, Santa’s Elves, and Frosty the Snowman and dropped off hundreds of toys to the Grace Care Church to help make the holidays merry and bright for many children in need. This was a momentous event for Paraco and captured the media’s attention. Our participation in the event was featured in the Long Island Times! A special thank you to the Paraco crew on Long Island for their holiday spirit and enthusiasm, and continued support in helping those in need!
National Wreaths Across America Day, Modena, New York – Paraco’s Tribute to Veterans
On December 15th, Paraco’s Northeast GM, Jeff, attended the annual laying of the wreaths on the Veterans’ stones at the Modena Rural Cemetery to remember their sacrifices in wars since the American Revolution. The ceremony began with the America Legion Color Guard Marching, followed by a 21 Gun Salute. Paraco is a proud supporter of our Veterans and sponsored the event by purchasing a dozen wreaths. Thanks to Jeff for his participation and dedication to the cause!
Paws of War – Animals for Veterans, Nesconset, New York – Paraco Volunteers on a Mission
Help-A-Vet, Save-A-Pet is their goal ─ and with the help of donations from our Shirley, Long Island location, Paraco volunteers ensured that needed supplies such as blankets, towels, beds, toys, food bowls, and treats were collected during the holiday season for all the animals that support our US military Veterans suffering from emotional effects of war, such as PTSD. Thanks to Jackie and Amanda for their generosity and support!
