Propane Angels, Auburn, Maine
Paraco was proud to fuel the Propane Angels as a sponsor of one of their most exciting fundraising events – the 10th Annual Summer Meeting Motorcycle Ride. PGANE (Propane Gas Association of New England) members gathered in Vermont for this years’ charity Bike Ride through the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondack Mountains of NY. This year’s ride was dedicated to “Getting Back to Normal” from the COVID-19 pandemic. Propane Angels is a non-profit organization that funds PGANE Scholarships administered by the National Propane Gas Foundation, which all proceeds from this event will be donated. Propane Angel’s mission also includes helping PGANE members and their families in times of tragedies and hardships and other organized charities that foster education, safety, and well-being for members of the propane fuel industries.
National Night Out, South Plainfield, New Jersey
Paraco employees from our South Plainfield, New Jersey location joined in the festivities to celebrate National Night Out! Organized by the South Plainfield Fire Department in conjunction with the South Plainfield Public Library and sponsored by the National Association of Town Watches, National Night Out is a free family-friendly community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safe and more caring places to live. To help raise funds to support the local Police, Fire, and EMS, Paraco donated a propane grill as a Raffle prize!
Brewster Fire Department, Brewster, New York
Paraco continues its support of their local communities by sponsoring a “Best Tanker Trophy” for the Brewster Fire Department’s 150th Anniversary Firemen’s Parade! Formed by a group of local merchants and residents back in 1871, this organization has evolved into a modern fire defense and ambulance service; providing efficient and highly trained Fire and EMS services to residents and visitors who live and conduct business within the Brewster Southeast Joint Fire District located in Putnam County, New York.
Esopus Community Foundation, Port Owen, New York
Esopus, a town located in Ulster County, supports the social well-being of all its residents in the community. Funds raised through donations are directed to local park upgrades and the beautification of the gateways to its hamlets. Creating place-markers within the town through gardens, art, and well-maintained public areas helps draw people to Esopus as a safe family and tourist destination while improving the quality of life and supporting local businesses and the economy. This year, Paraco will be supporting the Fill the Backpack Campaign, in partnership with Mario’s Pizza, as the drop-off location for school supplies donated to Robert Graves Elementary School. The last event distributed 125 book bags that school-age children could fill themselves from tables filled with school supplies. The children were provided “coupons” for a free slice of pizza and a free haircut sponsored by local businesses!
Hope for Youth Foundation, Buchanan, New York
Paraco continues its support of the Hope for Youth Foundation. This volunteer organization’s purpose is to improve the lives of children in the Hudson Valley by raising funds for local charitable organizations that help children who need physical, emotional, educational, or enrichment support. Sales from purchasing its long-range Weather Forecast Calendars will help support its mission and ensure many disabled and disadvantaged children are provided valuable learning experiences, such as community outings to museums and theaters. To date, the foundation has donated over $5 million!
Knights of the Road, Windham, New York
Paraco’s sign was proudly displayed on the H.B. Memorial Field on South Street in Windham. Proceeds from our advertisement will be used to maintain the little league charter, field, building equipment, and insurance costs.
Arrowhead Bible Camp, Brackney, Pennsylvania
The Paraco banner was proudly displayed on the home run fence of Shepherds Camp in Brackney, PA. With Paraco’s support, proceeds from our advertisement will be used to make significant enhancements to all camp areas, which offers complete care, overnight camp for the spiritual and physical needs of teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Arrowhead is currently celebrating 76 years of impacting lives and making disciplines for their campers!
