Paraco’s CEO, Joe Armentano, has joined the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon. This organization is special to Joe and his dad, Pat, as they were both born in Mount Vernon. Also, Paraco’s roots began in Mount Vernon as Pat founded the company in 1968 from a small garage when the company began as a distributor of welding supplies and industrial gases. Today, one of our first propane plants remains in the Mount Vernon community.
While Joe was growing up in Mount Vernon, the Boys & Girls Club has always been important to the men and women in the community. Serving youth for 106 years in a variety of programs, the Club’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those in need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
Last year, Joe was the proud recipient of the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon Leadership Award at their Annual Gala.
This year’s Gala will held on Wednesday, March 25th, at the Surf Club in New Rochelle, NY. Joe’s Executive Assistant, Diane DeVivo, has been asked to join the Gala Committee where she will utilize her fundraising and event planning expertise.
