A Small Town Makes Big Things Happen

June 11, 2018

Paraco helped fuel the Relay for Life of New Fairfield on June 2nd; a momentous event and huge success.  The event started with a Survivor and Caregiver luncheon, where many local restaurants and businesses donated food and gifts, including Paraco’s own donation of a grill and gas as a local sponsor.  Despite the threat of rain and thunderstorms, over 55 registered survivors and hundreds of participants excitedly awaited the start of the day’s activities.

Over the past ten years, Relay for Life of New Fairfield has raised over $1.3 million, working hard all year round planning events that raise funds for groundbreaking cancer research, patient care programs and making a difference in communities at large.  Undeterred by rain, exhaustion and sore muscles, so far June’s Relay for Life of New Fairfield has raised over $100,000 of their $130,000 goal with donations still being accepted.
