Install a Propane Fireplace Insert for a Cozy Winter

October 18, 2021 – ,

Don’t want the hassle of a burning fireplace, but still want the warmth and glow? Or do you have a beautiful fireplace mantle, but the fireplace itself doesn’t work?

A propane fireplace insert is just the solution for you!

Propane fireplace inserts are professionally installed inside your old fireplace to replace either an older gas unit or its woodburning capacity.

In addition to making your space perfectly toasty and cozy, There are a lot of advantages to using a propane gas insert!

Save on renovating costs: Renovating a fireplace can be expensive and involve inconvenient structural work. But propane gas fireplace inserts are sized to fit your existing fireplace housing, so no rebuild is needed.

Lower bills: A new propane fireplace insert is more insulated and more efficient than your old fireplace–particularly if it was a wood-burning model. And that type of warmth and efficiency can cause you to use electricity, leading to lower electric bills. On average, gas furnaces are about 30% more efficient than wood-burning models.

Greater safety: An open flame is inherently dangerous, even in the enclosure of a fireplace. Burning wood that is stacked too high can tumble into the room, and sparks from popping wood can fly out onto people or pets. Smoke can even back up and flow into the room if there’s a blockage in the chimney or a downdraft. With a fireplace insert, these problems don’t exist.

Greater convenience: With a fireplace insert, there’s no gathering wood and kindling, no splinters, and no stoking. Just a click of the remote controller from your recliner and you’ve got an instant cozy evening in front of the fire.

Less environmental impact: Less fuel needed means less environmental impact. Propane also burns cleaner than wood, so there are fewer carbon emissions with a propane fireplace insert.

Greater aesthetic value: A stylish fireplace insert can dress up even a plain brick mantle and façade, giving the room a big facelift with a minimal investment.

I’m shopping around for a propane fired fireplace insert with logs for my existing wood burning fireplace. I have existing propane tank we use for our cooktop and bbq. We will need gas line inspection and hook-up. I will buy the insert and logs.
    Looking for an estimate.
